#ShareAStory ‘Little Daisy’ #100WordStory
Little Daisy
In the meadow dancing in the breeze, Lark saw the flower. Heart of gold, silver on her dress. He fell in love.
One day the flower heard a sad song. Lark was in a cage, without water – dying. The children who caught him, dug up the piece of earth where Daisy lived and put it in his cage.
Lark toppled over. The children thought him dead, and ran to find a makeshift coffin leaving the cage open.
With dew upon her petals, Daisy bow low and tipped the liquid to his beak. Lark awoke and escaped taking Daisy with him.
